张紫音捡到了一双鞋。
她下班后坐公交车回家，通常爱坐最后的座位，因为人大多都挤在车厢前半部分，后面就比较空，空气也好些。这双鞋就是在最后的座位上捡到的，座位靠窗，白色的鞋盒端端正正放在座位上，上面用粉色丝带打了一个漂亮的蝴蝶结，像是送人的礼物。
张紫音左右看看，周围乘客似乎对这个鞋盒视而不见，想来是被人遗忘的。张紫音抱起鞋盒，坐在了那个座位上。反正她不捡总会有别人捡的，这鞋子一定是新买的，扔在这里多可惜。
她抱着鞋盒回家，迫不及待要拆开看是什么样子。那是一双小羊皮的红色高跟鞋，式样简单大方，穿上后衬得脚小巧玲珑。她对着镜子照来照去，觉得这双鞋穿在她的脚上再合适不过。
合适，却不一定合脚。这双鞋虽能穿上，可到底有些挤脚，不过新鞋都这样，穿穿便会松了，张紫音这样安慰自己。

同事们直叹可惜，张紫音却笑得灿烂，抬头挺胸走在办公室里，有着高人一等的感觉。可只有她自己知道脚是有多么痛，每走一步都像是踩在刀尖上，脚后跟已被磨出了血泡，脚趾挤在一起，真如上了枷锁。
可是要忍，咬紧牙关也要忍，美丽总要付出代价，是女人就要学会忍受疼痛。
高跟鞋穿了几天，没能如张紫音所愿变松，反而越来越紧，她人前笑，人后哭，偷偷躲在楼道里揉脚，还生怕有人路过瞧见她的秘密。
她的工作最近有些不大顺利，手头的项目出了些问题，经理忽然就让她把所有资料移交给同事，她百思不得其解，去问理由，经理极轻蔑的看着她笑了笑：“理由？你自己心里清楚！”
清楚什么？她不清楚！走出办公室，她感觉同事们看她的眼神怪异，听到有窃窃私语：“真没想到她竟是那种人！”

于是大家乖乖回到工作岗位，可张紫音心里堵得很，脚又疼得厉害，简直像要绞断了一样。她也无心工作，索性请了假，回家休息去了。
从公司到公交站，不过几百米距离，她走得异常缓慢。鞋子变得更紧了，她的双脚好像不是自己的，有那么一瞬间，她觉得脚在流血，可低头看看，才发现是自己的错觉。
好不容易到了家，她艰难的爬楼梯，一步一停，大口喘气，有个声音就这么飘进来：“你的脚太大了，不如把脚后跟削去些吧！”
“削去脚后跟？开什么玩笑？”张紫音没理会这个声音，却不想它一直在耳边回荡。走路，吃饭，洗澡，睡觉，它一刻不停的重复：“脚太大了，削去吧……”
张紫音吞了颗安眠药，声音就在梦里响起。去上班，它仍伴随左右。张紫音最近过得着实有些焦头烂额，公司本来是要升她职的，可因为先前的流言蜚语，升职也泡了汤。公司的新项目也不再交给她，经理找她谈话，话里话外的意思她明白，在她的事情没查清楚之前，是不可能再接手任何项目的。
张紫音很是气恼，可不愿在同事面前丢脸，依旧昂首挺胸从他们面前走过，高跟鞋踩得哒哒作响。她下班回家，刚出公司大楼就忍不住哭了起来，那个声音又不依不饶响起：“你的脚太大了，削去一些吧，削掉就好了。”
“削掉就好了？”张紫音问。
“削掉就好了。”声音回答。
张紫音笑了，打车回家，在小区外的便利店里买了把挺锋利的刀。收银员还以为她是要用来做饭，赞赏她眼光：“这刀好啊，切骨头都可以的。”
张紫音回家，脱掉红色高跟鞋，看着自己已被磨得尽是水泡的青紫的脚，真难看。声音也附和：“确实难看，削去就好了。”
“是啊，削去就好了。”张紫音似着了魔一般重复着，举起了刀，如切菜一般，切向了她的脚后跟。
鲜血涌出，她却不觉得疼，嘻嘻笑着，为自己的美丽举行一场血淋淋的仪式。
“削去就好了！”她和那声音一同道。
削去了多余的脚后跟，张紫音一双血淋淋的脚直接套入了高跟鞋里，果然合适多了，再不疼痛。她穿着高跟鞋自如的在客厅里旋转，血不断渗出来，把高跟靴染得更加鲜红。
