外公家一个儿子挖煤，被塌方压死了，我去外公家，外公挺伤心的，毕竟是白发人送黑发人，这是为人父最悲痛的事，他家除了呜咽声和撒喇声，再没有什么了，所以我刚到他家就想回家了。

那声音还在响：“沙沙沙……”是泥巴滑动的声音，你说有没有一点技术含量没有？吓人有这吓法的？鬼会把声音弄得一直响？
我摸了好一会儿，才找准打火机的开关，我开始打：“啪嗒！啪嗒！……”火机居然打不着，害得我嘴里的烟被我口水都湿软了半截。我的牙居然也抖起来，是太冷了，我就站在风口上，而且是大晚上，吹呼呼呼的寒风。
好不容易打着了，我凑到烟嘴上，还没点呢？火机上的火苗就息了，我冷得受不了，准备走开一点，点了烟在回来看个究竟。
没想身后的动静更大了，像一个石头砸在边上的暗沟里去，我干脆叫一声：“他妈是谁给老子滚出来，敢吓老子，怕不想活了！”被我这一吼，倒是安静了下来，我从坡上下来，终于想清了一个问题：刚刚是自己把泥巴弄下坡去，才有沙沙的声音。真是！自己吓自己。
我到坡下，再打火点烟，这次轻易就点了烟，我深吸一口，准备回去一看究竟，其实我回去是想证明自己刚才的推断。
这回为了不把泥巴弄到坡下去弄出声音来，我走泥巴紧的地方，到刚才站
的地方，仔细听还有没有声音？一听，我傻了眼！那沙沙的声音居然还有，而且听着更加清晰。
我立刻就判断：是老鼠，肯定是老鼠在阴沟里啃什么东西？准是。我有些生气了，从边上提了一块石头，猛向有声音的地方砸去：“砰！”我听到这声巨响，把烟吸得发亮，心里想：叫你吓我！我开始走，注意侧耳听还有没有声音。
没有，如我所愿。
可是我没走几步，就听到后面仿佛有一个人的脚步声，赶赶咐咐的，听了让人心里发毛。
我站住不走，猛吸一口烟，想回头看看谁来了，可是还没回头，后面那声音居然没有了，如果是人，他肯定会跟上来，怎么会我站住他也站住？
可是我是不相信鬼的，所以不管三七二十一，我还是要回头看看。
我又将手里的烟猛吸一口，准备借着烟的光亮看个究竟，一吸这烟我才明白点燃的烟马上就要被我吸完了，只剩下最后一口就到屁股上了。这时，我发现自己的手心有汗！见鬼，居然出冷汗。
我不打注意管，反正够回头看这一眼就好了，我转身，只是将头转过去，我想见了贼什么的可以逃呀。
我回过头去，什么都没有看见，天如墨水一样，黑漆漆。
我却更疑惑了：既然什么都没有，刚刚那是什么东西在响呢？这可不是在山坡那，有老鼠，甚至是泥巴落下去的声音。
难道是我的错觉？这也很可能，我虽不信鬼，被刚刚那老鼠一吓，多少还是有些受惊吓。
这样想的时候，我身后居然又响起了脚步声，跟刚才一样，赶赶咐咐的，可是我手里的烟已经熄灭了。
我不可能再点烟，再回头看，那声音越来越近了……
我想：先跑再说吧？就没命地跑。
